Barb Lachenbruch

Barb Lachenbruch writes fiction and creative non-fiction that reflects her perpetual astonishment by nature and human nature. She was formerly a professor of wood science and forest biology but now considers herself a botany nerd. She, her husband, and small dog, split time between Corvallis, Oregon, and their off-grid cabin in the Coast Range, where she beats back invasive weeds and dabbles in making maple syrup. She has published in High Country News and CALYX.
